Act No. 2379, enacted on February 28, 1914, amends previous legislation regarding the sale of "friar lands" in the Philippines. It limits the sale of these lands to a maximum of sixteen hectares for individuals and one thousand and twenty-four hectares for corporations. This amendment aims to regulate land ownership and prevent excessive accumulation of land by a single entity. The law reinforces prior acts concerning land sales, ensuring clear restrictions are in place.
