REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2051
AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY OF THE TARIFF AND CUSTOMS CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES
SECTION 1. Section eight hundred thirty of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred thirty-seven, otherwise known as the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines, is amended by adding at the end thereof the following paragraph: casia
"(1) Every vessel of Philippine registry of not less than ten gross tons nor more than one hundred fifty gross tons, which is operated exclusively for catching and transporting fish in the territorial waters of the Philippines, shall be required to carry only one licensed navigator regardless of grade or rank and one licensed engineer regardless of grade or rank to man such fishing vessel."
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
