Amendment to Sec. 2 of Act No. 3327
Act No. 3805, approved on December 5, 1930, amends Section 2 of Act No. 3327, which authorizes private surveyors to conduct cadastral surveys. The amendment specifies the cost-sharing structure for registration proceedings and survey fees: one-tenth is paid by the Insular Government, one-tenth by the province, one-tenth by the city or municipality, and the remaining seven-tenths is a lien on the landowners' property. Additionally, the Act clarifies that the Government is not required to pay fees for surveys of public lands surrounded by private claims in the same proceedings. The Director of Lands is tasked with including the necessary funds for the Insular Government's contribution in the annual budget.
