Amendment to Revised Administrative Code (Postal Savings Bank Special Withdrawals)

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 230

AN ACT TO FURTHER AMEND SECTION TWO THOUSAND AND NINETEEN OF THE REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AS AMENDED BY COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY-FOUR, REGARDING POSTAL SAVINGS BANK SPECIAL WITHDRAWALS

SECTION 1. Section two thousand and nineteen of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred and ninety-four, is hereby further amended so as to read as follows:

"SEC. 2019. Special withdrawals. — The Director of Posts may, by regulation, provide that withdrawals not in excess of one hundred pesos in each case, or any maximum amount which in the discretion of the Department Head and upon recommendation of the Director of Posts is considered proper and reasonable under the circumstances, may be paid by any local postmaster without first securing authority for such payment from the central office."

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
