Amendment to R.A. No. 9031 Re: Public Holiday in Camarines Sur
Republic Act No. 9410 amends Republic Act No. 9031 by declaring May 27 of each year as a special non-working public holiday in the Province of Camarines Sur, including the cities of Naga and Iriga. This holiday is established to commemorate the annual foundation anniversary of these areas as political units. The Act takes effect immediately upon approval, which occurred on March 24, 2007.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9410
AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9031, DECLARING MAY 27 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR AND IN THE CITIES OF NAGA AND IRIGA IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS ANNUAL FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Republic Act No. 9031 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. May 27 of every year is hereby declared as a special nonworking public holiday in the entire Province of Camarines Sur including the cities of Naga and Iriga in commemoration of its foundation anniversary as a political unit." cDCaTH
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
