Republic Act No. 922, approved on June 20, 1953, amends Section 3 of Republic Act No. 540 regarding land grants. The amendment grants permanent control and administration of these lands to the Executive Board of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, allowing them to develop or lease the lands in accordance with the Public Land Act and regulations from the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources. This act took effect immediately upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette in August 1953.

AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION THREE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FIVE HUNDRED AND FORTY
SECTION 1. Section three of Republic Act Numbered Five hundred and forty is amended to read as follows: cd i
"Sec. 3. The control and administration of these land grants are hereby vested permanently in the Executive Board of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. The Board may develop, lease all or any portion of these lands subject to the provisions of the Public Land Act, as amended, and the existing regulations of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources."
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
