Amendment to R.A. No. 5205 Re: Salaries of Positions in Veterans Memorial Hospital

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6133

AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FIVE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIVE, ENTITLED "AN ACT FIXING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN POSITIONS IN THE VETERANS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL"

SECTION 1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Five thousand two hundred five is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 1. The WAPCO classification and pay plan shall be adjusted to the following salaries of certain positions in the Veterans Memorial Hospital, which are hereby fixed as follows:

"(a) Director, fifteen thousand pesos, per annum;

"(b) Assistant Director, fourteen thousand five hundred pesosper annum;

"(c) Chief of Professional Staff, fourteen thousand pesos, per annum;

"(d) Medical Specialist III, thirteen thousand five hundred pesos per annum;

"(e) Medical Specialist II, twelve thousand pesos, per annum;

"(f) Hospital Department Head, Chief of Service and Chief of Division (non-medical), twelve thousand pesos, per annum;

"(g) Medical Specialist I, eleven thousand pesos, per annum;

"(h) Senior Resident Physician and Clinic Supervisor, nine thousand pesos, per annum; cdt

"(i) Resident Physician, Clinic Physician and Junior Physician, seven thousand pesos, per annum;

"Those serving on part-time basis shall receive one-half of the corresponding salaries mentioned herein."

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cd
