Amendment to R.A. No. 3259 Re: Franchise Grant to International Communications Corp.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4905
AN ACT TO AMEND REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY-NINE, ENTITLED "AN ACT GRANTING THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION A FRANCHISE TO ESTABLISH RADIO STATIONS FOR DOMESTIC RADIO TELECOMMUNICATIONS, RADIOPHONE, BROADCASTING AND TELECASTING"
SECTION 1. Section four of Republic Act Numbered Three thousand two hundred fifty-nine is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 4. This franchise shall continue for a period of twenty-five years from the date the first of said stations shall be placed in operation, and is granted upon the express condition that same shall be void unless the construction of said station be begun within two years from the date of the approval of this amendatory Act and be completed within four years from said date." casia
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
