Amendment to Proc. No. 1463, s. 2008 Re: Regular Holidays and Special (Non-working Days) for 2008
Proclamation No. 1463-A, issued on May 7, 2008, amends Proclamation No. 1463 regarding the observance of regular holidays and special (non-working) days in the Philippines for that year. It specifies that Independence Day will be celebrated on June 12 and Ninoy Aquino Day on August 21, as originally intended, despite earlier adjustments to those dates. This amendment emphasizes the importance of commemorating these historic events on their actual anniversary dates. The proclamation took effect immediately upon its issuance.
