PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1629

AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1486, CREATING A SPECIAL COURT TO BE KNOWN AS "SANDIGANBAYAN", AS REVISED BY PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1606

WHEREAS, it has been found necessary, to amend Section 11 of Presidential Decree No. 1486, as revised by Presidential Decree No. 1606;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby order and decree:

SECTION 1.  Section 11 of Presidential Decree No. 1606 is hereby amended by deleting the second paragraph thereof. cd i

SECTION 2.  This Decree shall take effect immediately.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 18th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Nine.
