Amendment to E.O. No. 260 (July 14, 1995)
Executive Order No. 260-A, issued by President Fidel V. Ramos on February 20, 1996, amends the previous Executive Order No. 260 concerning dividend rates for selected government-owned and/or controlled corporations based on their 1994 earnings. Specifically, it reduces the dividend rate for the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System from 30% to 20%. This adjustment is made in accordance with Section 5 of Republic Act No. 7656. The order takes effect immediately upon adoption.

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 260-A
AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 260 ENTITLED "ADJUSTING THE DIVIDEND RATES OF SELECTED GOVERNMENT OWNED AND/OR CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS ON THEIR 1994 EARNINGS PURSUANT TO SECTION 5 OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7656"
I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Section 1 of Executive Order No. 260 dated July 14, 1995 entitled "Adjusting the Dividend Rates of Selected Government Owned and/or Controlled Corporations on their 1994 Earnings Pursuant to Section 5 of Republic Act No. 7656" by adjusting the dividend rate of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System from thirty percent (30%) to twenty percent (20%).
This Executive Order shall take effect immediately. THacES
