Amendment to C.A. No. 108 Re: Common-law Relationship Between Alien and Filipino

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6084
AN ACT AMENDING FURTHER COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 108, AS AMENDED, SO AS TO DECLARE THE COMMON-LAW RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AN ALIEN AND A FILIPINO CITIZEN A PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE OF VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION TWO-A OF SAID ACT
A new section to be known as Section 2 (c) is hereby inserted in Commonwealth Act No. 108 to read as follows: casia
"Sec. 2. . . .
"(c) The exercise, possession or control by a Filipino citizen having a common-law relationship with an alien of a right, privilege, property or business, the exercise or enjoyment of which is expressly reserved by the Constitution or the laws to citizens of the Philippines, shall constitute a prima facie evidence of violation of the provisions of Section 2-A hereof."
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
