BPI QUARANTINE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 01-05
AMENDMENT TO BPI QUARANTINE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 1, SERIES OF 1981 (RULES AND REGULATIONS TO IMPLEMENT PRESIDENTIAL DECREE 1433)
Pursuant to Section 17 of Presidential Decree No. 1433, providing authority to the Director of the Bureau of Plant Industry, with the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture, to promulgate Special Quarantine Orders, Rules and Regulation, the following amendment is hereby promulgated:
In order to reflect the real meaning of "Permit to Import" in BPI Quarantine Administrative Order No. 1, series of 1981, which is phytosanitary clearance, all reference to Permit to Import in the said order and all other Orders previously issued shall be changed to read "Plant Quarantine Clearance".
The name of the document issued by the Bureau of Plant Industry previously known as "Permit to Import" shall likewise be changed to "Plant Quarantine Clearance".
All Orders, Rules and Regulations inconsistent with this Administrative Order are hereby superseded and/or revoked accordingly.
This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication in one newspaper of general circulation. cCaIET
