Amendment to B.P. Blg. 129 (Additional RTC Branch in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan)
Republic Act No. 10567, enacted on May 22, 2013, establishes an additional branch of the Regional Trial Court in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, as part of the First Judicial Region. This act amends the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980 to facilitate the creation of this new court branch. The Supreme Court will assign a branch number, and the Chief Justice, in coordination with the Department of Justice, will oversee the implementation and funding, which will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The law will take effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette or two newspapers of general circulation.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10567
AN ACT CREATING AN ADDITIONAL BRANCH OF THE REGIONAL TRIAL COURT IN THE FIRST JUDICIAL REGION TO BE STATIONED AT URDANETA CITY, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, FURTHER AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 129, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "THE JUDICIARY REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1980", AS AMENDED, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. One (1) additional Regional Trial Court branch for Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, with seat thereat, is hereby created in the First Judicial Region.
SECTION 2. The Supreme Court shall assign the branch number for the newly created branch.
SECTION 3. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include in the Court's program the implementation of this Act. The funding therefor shall likewise be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The funds necessary for the operation of the Court herein created shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the Court and the appointment of its personnel.
SECTION 4. Section 14 (a) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980", as amended, as well as other provisions that may be inconsistent herewith, are hereby deemed repealed, modified and/or further amended.
SECTION 5. Effectivity. — This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) newspapers of general circulation. cSIACD
