Amendment to A.O. No. 2008-0004 on Revised National Policy on Living Non-Related Organ Donation and Transplantation
The Department of Health in the Philippines issued Administrative Order No. 2008-0004-A, amending the Revised National Policy on Living Non-Related Organ Donation and Transplantation. DOH ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2008-0004-A
| SUBJECT | : | Amendment to the Administrative Order No. 2008-0004 on Revised National Policy on Living Non-Related Organ Donation and Transplantation and its Implementing Structure |
The Executive Committee of this Department hereby amends provision no. 7 of Section V of the Revised National Policy on Living Non-Related Organ Donation and Transplantation and its Implementing Structure, the following amendment to state: HACaSc
"Foreigners are not eligible to receive organs from Filipino living non-related donors".
As thus amended, all other provisions of Administrative Order No. 2008-0004 dated March 3, 2008 still stands in effect. This order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the official gazette or newspaper of general publication. This Order shall be followed and implemented until such time that a national legislation regarding Living Non-Related Donor is passed.
