Amendment Sec. 1 of R.A. No. 5155 Re: Pangasinan Engineering District
Republic Act No. 6153, approved on November 9, 1970, amends Republic Act No. 5155 by officially constituting the Fourth and Fifth Representative Districts of Pangasinan into a single, separate highway engineering district, now referred to as the Second Highway Engineering District. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6153
AN ACT AMENDING SECTION ONE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FIFTY-ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE, ENTITLED "AN ACT CONSTITUTING THE FIFTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT OF THE PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN INTO A SEPARATE HIGHWAY ENGINEERING DISTRICT" (RE: INCLUSION OF THE FOURTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT)
SECTION 1. The title of Republic Act Numbered Fifty-one hundred fifty-five is amended to read as follows:
"An Act constituting the Fourth and Fifth Representative Districts of the Province of Pangasinan into a separate highway engineering district." cdt
SECTION 2. Section one of the same Act is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the fourth and fifth representative districts of the Province of Pangasinan are hereby constituted into a separate highway engineering district which shall hereafter be known as the Second Highway Engineering District of the Province of Pangasinan. The office of the second highway engineering district shall be established in the Municipality of Rosales of said province."
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. casia
