| SUBJECT | : | Amendment of DAO 2011-09 — "Supplementary Provisions to DAO No. 2008-14 Re — Guidelines on the Conduct of Bidding and Awarding of Cadastral Survey Project Contracts Pursuant to R.A. 9184" |
In order to further rationalize the implementation of the procurement of services of qualified Geodetic Engineers in the conduct of Cadastral Survey in the country, and pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 9184, the "Government Procurement Reform Act" and in accordance with DENR Administrative Order No. 2007-08, Mandating the adoption of customized procedures in the conduct of bidding for government projects and pursuant to the Cadastral Act (Act 2259) dated February 11, 1913, the amendment is hereby issued, to wit: aATESD
SECTION 1. Individual Contractors. — Contractors who are themselves licensed Geodetic Engineers under the ambit of RA 8560, as amended, are now allowed to participate in all cadastral projects regardless of project category with no limit in terms of number of projects provided that he/she is ascertained to be technically and financially capable of undergoing the cadastral project by the Regional Bids and Awards Committee (RBACs). Provided further, that the contractor must assign a Supervising Geodetic Engineer under his/her direct supervision per project.
SECTION 2. Partnership/Corporation. — All partnership/corporation intending to participate in the bidding of Cadastral Survey Project should meet the composition requirement pursuant to Section 24, Article V, Republic Act No. 8560, as amended, and are likewise allowed to participate in all cadastral projects with no limit in terms of number of projects provided that the partnership/corporation is ascertained to be technically and financially capable of undergoing the cadastral project by the Regional Bids and Awards Committees (RBACs).
SECTION 3. Repealing Clause. — All Administrative Orders, Circulars and Issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed and/or modified accordingly. aEcTDI
SECTION 4. Effectivity. — This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days from its publication in the newspaper of general circulation and upon filing with the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR).
