Amending Sections One and Two of Presidential Decree Numbered Seven Hundred Six

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 718

AMENDING SECTIONS ONE AND TWO OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED SEVEN HUNDRED SIX

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, in order to effect minor amendments to existing law and needed corrections of certain typographical errors therein, do hereby order and decree the following: ASEcHI

SECTION 1. Section one of Presidential Decree Numbered Seven hundred six is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SECTION 1. The amount of One hundred twenty million pesos (P120,000.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated for the reclamation of the Dagat-Dagatan Lagoon in the Province of Rizal."

SECTION 2. Section two of the same decree is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 2. The appropriation herein made shall be understood to include the cost of acquisition of such construction equipment and motor vehicles as may be required for the reclamation project."

SECTION 3. This decree shall take effect immediately.
