Amending Section 5 of Act No. 2347, as amended

AN ACT TO AMEND THE FIRST, TENTH, AND ELEVENTH PARAGRAPHS OF SECTION FIVE OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-THREE HUNDRED AND FORTY-SEVEN, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE REORGANIZATION OF THE COURTS OF FIRST INSTANCE AND OF THE COURT OF LAND REGISTRATION, " AS AMENDED

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of section five of Act Numbered twenty-three hundred and forty-seven, entitled "An Act to provide for the reorganization of the Courts of First Instance and of the Court of Land Registration," is hereby amended by adding, at the end thereof, the following proviso:

"Provided, That upon the completion of the cases at the places other than their residences designated in this Act, the judges shall return to their residences and continue to hold court there on all working days while there are cases ready for trial in the province."

SECTION 2. The tenth paragraph of the same section and Act, as amended by Act Numbered Twenty-four hundred and ninety-five, and the eleventh paragraph thereof, are hereby amended to read as follows:

"Thirteenth District: At Batangas, Province of Batangas, on the first Tuesday of February and August of each year. At Calapan, Province of Mindoro, on the first Tuesday of April and October of each year, and at the township of Lubang, Island of Lubang, Province of Mindoro, on the third Tuesday of March of each year.

"Fourteenth District: At Lucena, Province of Tayabas, on the first Tuesday of February, July, and December of each year. At Boac, subprovince of Marinduque, on the second Tuesday of April and November of each year." SDECAI

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
