Amending Section 12 of P.D. No. 941

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1019

AMENDING SECTION TWELVE OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED NINE HUNDRED FORTY-ONE

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, in order to effect minor amendments to existing law and needed corrections of certain typographical errors therein, do hereby order and decree the following:

SECTION 1. Section twelve of Presidential Decree No. 941 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 12. Appropriation. — To meet the organizational and other expenses of the Export Council, the amount of Five Million (P5 M) Pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1976, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Thereafter, the same amount, which may be adjusted by an amount reflective of the change in total export performance during the year immediately preceding the budget year, or such sum as may be necessary for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Decree."

SECTION 2. This Decree shall take effect immediately.
