PRC BOARD OF AGRICULTURE RESOLUTION NO. 25-07

AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 09-A, SERIES OF 2005 MODIFYING SECTION 39, ARTICLE VIII OF BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 02, SERIES OF 2002, KNOWN AS THE "RULES AND REGULATIONS IMPLEMENTING PRC RESOLUTION NO. 2000-663, AS AMENDED"

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 09-A, Series of 2005 amended Sec. 39 Registration of Agriculturists Without Examination, Article VIII of Board Res. No. 02, Series of 2002, known as the "Rules and Regulations Implementing PRC Resolution 2000-663, as Amended", by providing therein that ". . . the deadline or last day of filing of application for registration without examination shall not be later than December 31, 2006"; ISDCHA

WHEREAS, inasmuch as many agriculturists beset with difficulties in obtaining the required documents, e.g., the certificate of live birth containing erroneous entry, the Ombudsman clearances in the provinces, could not meet the December 31, 2006 deadline, they had requested the Board prior to such deadline to extend the period of registration for Agriculturists without examination;

WHEREAS, in view of the foregoing requests, the Board discussed thoroughly the provision of Section 39, realizing that there would be many more qualified agriculturists who could avail themselves of the foregoing provision; and

WHEREAS, having considered the merits for the grant of such requests, the Board decided to amend Resolution No. 09-A, Series of 2005;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Board resolves, as it is hereby resolved, to amend Resolution No. 09-A, Series of 2005 by providing therein that the deadline or last day for filing of application for registration without examination shall not be later than December 31, 2008. EaISTD

This resolution shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following its full and complete publication in the Official Gazette, or in any newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines.

Let copies hereof be furnished to Philippine Association of Agriculturists, Inc. (PAA), Department of Agriculture, and other government and private agencies where qualified applicants are connected with, for dissemination to all concerned. cACTaI
