Amending P.D. No. 894
Presidential Decree No. 962, issued on July 14, 1976, amends Presidential Decree No. 894 by replacing the term "shipping lines" with "vessel" or "vessels" to clarify the definition of Philippine flag vessels as outlined in Presidential Decree No. 806. This change aims to eliminate confusion regarding the carriage of international cargo and government-supported shipments by Philippine flag carriers. The amendment ensures consistency in terminology across relevant decrees. The decree takes immediate effect upon promulgation.
