EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 876
AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 733 (S. 2008)
WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 504 (s. 2006) created a Subic-Clark Area Development Council;
WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 504-A (s. 2008) defined the powers and functions of the Subic-Clark Alliance for Development Council;
WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 733 (s. 2008) reorganized the Subic-Clark Alliance for Development Council;
WHEREAS, under Section 31 (2), Chapter 10, Title III of Executive Order No. 292, otherwise known as the Administrative Code of 1987, the President is granted the authority to reorganize the executive branch of the government:
NOW THEREFORE, I, GLORIA M. ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me, do hereby order:
SECTION 1. Reorganization. — The Subic-Clark Alliance for Development Council is hereby reorganized. It shall be henceforth called as the Subic-Clark Alliance for Development. SaCIAE
SECTION 2. Chairman. — The Chairman of the Clark International Airport Corporation shall serve as the Chairman of the SCAD.
SECTION 3. Repealing Clause. — Executive Order No. 733 (s. 2008) is hereby amended accordingly. All other executive issuances, orders, rules and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Executive Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
SECTION 4. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
