To prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease, the Department of Health institutes various strategies to aid the health facilities in the implementation of infection prevention and control measures. This includes Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities which caters to suspect, probable and confirmed COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms, or no symptoms, or close contacts.
In line with this, DOH endorses the use of the attached Infection Prevention and Control Checklist for Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities. This user-friendly tool was developed based on the previous DOH issuances on infection prevention and control to assist Facility Managers and Infection Prevention and Control Officers in preparing TTMFs for efficient operations. The checklist is to serve as a guide to ensure that the IPC standards, processes, and protocols are in place and followed.
The attached list is no means the authoritative criteria to be used for certification.

Infection Prevention and Control Checklist for Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this checklist is to provide guidance for Facility Managers and Infection Prevention and Control Officers in Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities to ensure operations adhere with IPC Standards and Protocols. AHCETa
A. APPLICATION OF STANDARD AND EMPIRICAL PRECAUTIONS
