2019 Revised Rule on Children in Conflict with the Law
The OCA Circular No. 97-2019, dated June 28, 2019, informs all designated and statutory family court judges about the approval of the 2019 Revised Rule on Children in Conflict with the Law, effective July 7, 2019. This revision was sanctioned by the Court En Banc in a resolution dated January 22, 2019, and published in major newspapers on June 22, 2019. The circular supersedes any previous directives from the Office of the Court Administrator that contradict this new rule. Judges are directed to adhere strictly to this updated regulation.

In its 22 January 2019 Resolution in A.M. No. 02-1-18-SC(Re: Rule on Juveniles in Conflict with the Law), the Court En BancAPPROVED the 2019 Revised Rule on Children in Conflict with the Law.
The said Resolution, appended herein as Annex "A", was published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer and the Philippine Star on 22 June 2019 and shall take effect on 7 July 2019.
Any prior circular from the Office of the Court Administrator on this matter which is contrary to the foregoing is hereby superseded.
