NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution datedOctober 17, 2018, which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 236686 (Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. v. Sandra Reyes and Jocelyn Reyes). — The Court:
(1) GRANTS petitioner's motion for an extension of ten (10) days from June 19, 2018 within which to comply with the Resolution dated April 23, 2018 requiring petitioner to submit a certified true copy of the first page of the assailed Decision of July 10, 2017; and
(2) NOTES said compliance.
The Court resolved, in the interest of justice, to order: respondents Sandra Reyes and Jocelyn Reyes to file COMMENT on the petition within ten (10) days from notice; and, petitioner, to FURNISH a copy of the petition and its annexes, which consists of 493 pages, the Office of the Solicitor General, which is also ordered to file COMMENT within the same period.
Meantime, the proceedings before the Municipal Trial Court of Clarkfield, Pampanga, Angeles City in Criminal Case No. 12-5960 for Attempted Theft under Article 308 of the Revised Penal Code, is HELD IN ABEYANCE until the final resolution of the issue of the admissibility of petitioner Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc.'s Exhibits "L" to "Y," consisting of fourteen (14) pieces of Hewlett Packard Printer Ink Cartridges, allegedly confiscated from respondents, in violation of their constitutional right against unreasonable searches and seizures.
