Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution datedMarch 2, 2022which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 13146 [Formerly CBD Case No. 17-5493] (Jinabelle F. Villanueva, complainant, v. Atty. Carl Stephen A. Guzman, respondent). — The Court resolves to DISMISS the Complaint filed by Jinabelle F. Villanueva against Atty. Carl Stephen A. Guzman for being unmeritorious considering that the latter does not appear to have committed any of the acts or causes specified in Section 27, Rule 138 of the Rules of Court or the Code of Professional Responsibility or the Lawyer's Oath. 1
WHEREFORE, the disbarment complaint filed by Jinabelle F. Villanueva against Atty. Carl Stephen A. Guzman is hereby DISMISSED for lack of merit. Let a copy of this Resolution be attached to his records.
The Notice of Resolution No. CBD-2020-08-26 dated August 22, 2020 of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines' Board of Governors, transmitted by letter dated August 4, 2021 of Atty. Avelino V. Sales, Jr., Director for Bar Discipline, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, together with the records and flash drive file, is NOTED.
