Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated 22 January 2018 which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 10482 [Formerly CBD Case No. 15-4503] (Lovella O. Veluz v. Atty. Hermino T. Ubana, Sr.). — For resolution is a Complaint for Disbarment filed by Lovella O. Veluz against respondent Atty. Hermino T. Ubana, Sr. for violation of Rule 4.04 of the Code of Professional Responsibility.
In his Report and Recommendation dated July 4, 2016, Investigating Commissioner Atty. Isagani G. Calderon of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), recommended the dismissal of the complaint due to lack of merit. In Resolution No. XXII-2016-658 dated November 29, 2016, the IBP Board of Governors adopted and approved said IBP-Commissioner's Report and Recommendation.
Finding the recommendation of the IBP to be fully supported by the evidence on record and applicable laws, the Court RESOLVES to DISMISS the case against Atty. Hermino T. Ubana, Sr. and consider the same as CLOSED and TERMINATED.
