Landicho). — After a judicious study of the case, the Court resolves to DENY the instant petition and AFFIRM the Decision dated October 9, 2017 and the Resolution dated May 25, 2018 of the Court of Appeals (CA) in CA-G.R. SP No. 145882 for failure of petitioner to sufficiently show that the CA committed any reversible error in finding no grave abuse of discretion in the Regional Trial Court's (RTC) Orders dated September 21, 2015 and November 26, 2015, granting respondents' motion to declare defendant in default and denying petitioner's motion to dismiss.
The CA correctly upheld the RTC's findings that substituted service of summons was validly effected to petitioner, thus, acquiring jurisdiction over its person. HTcADC
