Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution dated January 14, 2019 which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 242317 (Spouses Melchorina & Alex Pascual v. Spouses Romulo C. Santos Jr., & Ramona M. Santos). — After review, the Court resolves to DENY the petition for failure to sufficiently show that the Court of Appeals (CA) committed any reversible error in its Decision dated February 09, 2018 and its Resolution dated September 24, 2018 in CA-G.R. SP No. 145960. The Decision of the CA is based on the evidence presented, the applicable law and jurisprudence.
There is no sufficient reason to disturb the findings of fact and the conclusions of law arrived at by the Metropolitan Trial Court, the Regional Trial Court, and the CA. Their findings are accorded great weight and respect, and are even binding on this Court especially when they concur, as in this case.
WHEREFORE, the petition is DENIED and the Court of Appeals' Decision dated February 09, 2018 and its Resolution dated September 24, 2018 in CA-G.R. SP No. 145960 are AFFIRMED.
