Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution dated December 10, 2018, which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 9642 — Jose Ramon A. Sarmiento, complainant, vs. Atty. Ruben R. Aldea, respondent.
RESOLUTION
The Unnumbered Resolution dated November 29, 2017 issued by the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) is NOTED.
Considering that the findings of fact and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report and Recommendation, as adopted by the IBP Board of Governors, are supported by the evidence on record and by applicable laws, the Court ADOPTS and ACCEPTS these findings and recommendation to dismiss the case against respondent Atty. Ruben R. Aldea for lack of merit, there being no clear showing that he committed any act which amounted to violation of the Lawyer's Oath and/or Code of Professional Responsibility.
ACCORDINGLY, the Complaint against respondent Atty. Ruben R. Aldea is DISMISSED.
The Letter dated August 10, 2018 of Atty. Marlou B. Ubano, Director for Bar Discipline, IBP, Commission on Bar Discipline, transmitting the documents pertaining to this case, is NOTED.
There being no motion for reconsideration or petition for review filed per records of the Office of the Bar Confidant, the case is considered CLOSED and TERMINATED.
