NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames:
Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated30 September 2020which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 252618 (Diana Sanchez y Narciza v. People of the Philippines). — The Court resolves to REQUIRE counsel for petitioner, Atty. Bryan G. Pekas, to FULLY COMPLY with the Rules by submitting the proof of updated payment of his IBP membership dues within five (5) days from notice.
After a careful review of the case, the Court finds the Petition for Review on Certiorari1 to be lacking in merit. The Court finds no reversible error on the part of the Court of Appeals (CA) in affirming the Judgment 2 dated 01 February 2016 of the Regional Trial Court of Baguio City, Branch 4, in Crim. Case No. 34122-R, finding petitioner Diana Sanchez y Narciza guilty beyond reasonable doubt of violation of Section 5 (a), Article III of Republic Act No. 7610.
WHEREFORE, the Court resolves to DENY the instant petition. The Decision 3 dated 22 May 2019 and the Resolution 4 dated 05 June 2020 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CR No. 38550 are AFFIRMED.
