NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution datedSeptember 28, 2022, which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 13494 [formerly CBD Case No. 19-6100] (Esperanza Barbara P. Rodriguez v. Atty. Delon Richel Ramon B. Urot). — The Court NOTES the Notice of Resolution No. CBD-XXV-2022-03-53 2 dated March 18, 2022 of the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), modifying the Report and Recommendation 3 dated January 24, 2022 of the Investigating Commissioner.
Finding the Resolution of the IBP Board of Governors to be fully supported by the evidence on record and by applicable laws and jurisprudence, the Court RESOLVES to ADOPT and APPROVE the Resolution of the IBP Board of Governors imposing upon Atty. Delon Richel Ramon B. Urot (respondent) the following penalties: (i) REPRIMAND for lack of candor in passing the blame to his staff; (ii) FINE of Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00) for false representations; and (iii) ANOTHER FINE of Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000.00) for failure to submit his position paper.
Payment shall be made within 10 days from the receipt of this Resolution. Respondent is ORDERED to submit to the Court proof of payment of the fines within 10 days from payment.
Respondent is STERNLY WARNED that the commission of the same or similar act in the future shall be dealt with more severely.
Let a copy of this Resolution be attached to respondent's personal record in the Office of the Bar Confidant.
