The Notice of Resolution No. XXI-2015-587 dated June 20, 2015, Notice of Resolution No. XXII-2017-719 dated January 26, 2017, and Extended Resolution dated June 8, 2017 of the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) are NOTED.
Considering that the findings of fact and recommendation of the IBP Board of Governors, as embodied in its Extended Resolution, are supported by the evidence on record and by applicable laws, the Court ADOPTS and ACCEPTS these findings and recommendation to dismiss this case against respondent Atty. Pelagio Lawrence N. Cuizon, there being no clear showing that he committed any act which amounted to a violation of the Lawyer's Oath and/or the Code of Professional Responsibility. CAIHTE
ACCORDINGLY, the Complaint against respondent Atty. Pelagio Lawrence N. Cuizon is DISMISSED for lack of merit.
There being no motion for reconsideration or petition for review filed per records of the Office of the Bar Confidant, this case is considered CLOSED and TERMINATED.
