RE: INTEGRATED BAR OF THE PHILIPPINES' RESOLUTION GRANTING AN INCENTIVE TO A LAWYER WHO SHALL RENDER VOLUNTEER SERVICE TO THE SUPREME COURT RELATIVE TO THE CONDUCT OF AN ANNUAL BAR EXAMINATION

Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution datedAUGUST 16, 2022, which reads as follows:
"A.M. No. 22-08-09-SC (Re: Integrated Bar of the Philippines' Resolution Granting an Incentive to a Lawyer who shall Render Volunteer Service to the Supreme Court relative to the Conduct of an Annual Bar Examination). — The Court Resolved to NOTE and APPROVE Resolution dated August 5, 2022 of the 25th Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), granting an incentive to lawyers who render volunteer service to the Supreme Court relative to the conduct of an annual Bar examination. In the subject Resolution, the 25th Board of Governors resolved to waive, by way of incentive, the following requirements in an application for lifetime membership in the IBP, to wit: (i) rendition of one hundred twenty (120) hours of legal aid service, and (ii) attendance in one (1) regional or national convention of the IBP, in favor of lawyers who render voluntary service to the Supreme Court relative to the conduct of an annual Bar Examination; Provided, that a certification of such service attested to by the Supreme Court-designated Chairperson of the Bar Examination for a particular year shall be submitted to the IBP as part of the documents in support of the application for Lifetime Membership; Provided further, that the other requirements relative to the application for Lifetime Membership shall still be complied with by the lawyer. The grant of the waiver shall be effective beginning with the Annual Bar Examinations to be conducted by the Supreme Court in 2022." Lopez, M. and Singh, JJ., on leave. (adv21a)
