NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution datedAugust 15, 2022, which reads as follows:
"A.M. No. 18876-Ret (Re: Application for Retirement Benefits under Section 13-A of Republic Act No. 8291 of Elgie B. Ferido, Clerk of Court III, Branch 23, Metropolitan Trial Court [MeTC], Manila) — The Court resolved, upon the recommendation of the Office of the Court Administrator, to APPROVE Elgie B. Ferido's (Ferido) application for retirement benefits under Section 13-A of Republic Act No. 8291. Further, considering the pendency of OCA IPI No. 17-2924-MTJ, an administrative case against Ferido, the transmittal of his claim for optional retirement benefits to the Government Security Insurance System and the payment of the monetary value of his earned leave credits shall be WITHHELD until the said administrative case is resolved. Upon the resolution of the administrative case, any fine imposed shall be deducted from any benefits withheld by the Fiscal Management and Budget Office. After such deduction, the payment of any remaining amount of Ferido's benefits and earned leave credits shall be IMMEDIATELY RELEASED and his optional retirement benefits claim shall be TRANSMITTED to the Government Security Insurance System.
