Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution datedAugust 7, 2019, which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 233389 (Julieta Racoma vs. People of the Philippines) — Considering the allegations, arguments, and issues raised in the Petition for Review on Certiorari, the Court resolves to DENY the same for raising only factual issues and for failure to show that the Court of Appeals committed any reversible error in its assailed Decision dated May 12, 2017 and Resolution dated August 7, 2017, as to warrant the exercise of the Court's appellate jurisdiction.
WHEREFORE, the Decision dated May 12, 2017 and the Resolution dated August 7, 2017 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CR No. 38678 are AFFIRMED with MODIFICATION in that petitioner Julieta Racoma is hereby sentenced to suffer the straight penalty of one (1) year imprisonment.
