Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution datedApril 4, 2018which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 236238 (Jaime Porras, et al. v. Sumifru [Phils.] Corporation [T'Boli Operations] and/or Paul Cuyegkeng, President and Chief Executive Officer). — The motion for extension of time to file petition for review on certiorari under Rule 45 filed by petitioners is GRANTED. ICHDca
After review, the Court nonetheless resolves to DENY the petition and amended petition for failure to show that the Court of Appeals (CA) committed any reversible error in dismissing their petition for certiorari. Petitioners failed to avail of the proper remedy under the 2011 National Labor Relations Commission Rules of Procedure to question the Labor Arbiter's denial of their motion for execution, or justify such failure. Therefore, the CA did not err in dismissing their petition for certiorari.
WHEREFORE, premises considered, the petition and amended petition are DENIED. The April 27, 2017 and November 27, 2017 Resolutions of the CA in CA-G.R. SP No. 08051-MIN are AFFIRMED.
The petitioners' "motion to amend letter B page 9 ground of this petition for review based on questions of law to include annexes "K" to "K-3" in letter B (ground) and underlined below" is GRANTED; the petitioners' submission of certified true copies of compromise agreements attached and marked as annexes "K" to "K-3" to the petition is NOTED; and the counsel for petitioners is hereby directed to COMPLY within five (5) days from notice hereof with A.M. No. 07-6-5-SC dated July 10, 2007 re: statement of contact details (e.g., telephone number, fax number, cellular phone number or e-mail address) of parties or their counsels in all papers and pleadings filed with the Supreme Court.
