NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution dated July 29, 2015 which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 213833 (People of the Philippines v. Ramil Wahab y Usi). — After a judicious perusal of the records, the Court resolves to DISMISS the appeal for failure to sufficiently show that the Court of Appeals (CA) committed any reversible error in its assailed Decision as to warrant the exercise of the Court's appellate jurisdiction.
WHEREFORE, the Court ADOPTS the findings of fact and conclusions of law in the April 30, 2014 Decision 1 of the CA in CA-G.R. CR HC No. 01076-MIN and AFFIRMS said Decision finding accused-appellant Ramil Wahab y Usi GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of Illegal Sale and Possession of Prohibited Drugs, sentencing him to suffer the following penalties: (a) life imprisonment and to pay a fine of P500,000.00 for violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, 2 otherwise known as the "Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002"; and (b) imprisonment of twelve (12) years and one (1) day, as minimum, to fourteen (14) years, four (4) months, and one (1) day, as maximum, and to pay a fine of P300,000.00 for violation of Section 11, Article II of the same Act.
