Balading). — After review of the records, the Court resolves to require the Regional Trial Court of Quezon City, Branch 221 (RTC), to report on the status of the case of two (2) of the respondents, namely: SPO2 George S. Labayan (Labayan) and PO1 Abdulbayan U. Mundas (Mundas), who were among the accused in Criminal Case Nos. Q-09-162148-72, Q-09-162216-31, Q-10-162652-66, Q-10-163766, and GL-Q-12-178638 entitled "People of the Philippines v. Andal Ampatuan, Jr., et al."
On December 19, 2019, the RTC rendered a decision acquitting, among others, the police officers who were members of the so-called "Solano Group" and "Labayan Group," the dispositive portion thereof reads:
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, judgment is hereby rendered as follows, viz.:

8. The cases filed against accused PO2 Hernanie Decipulo, Datu Andal Ampatuan, Sr., Moactar Daud, SPO1 Eduardo Ong, Nasser Talib a.k.a. Morales Sisay Amilol, Macton Bilungan and PO1 Bersedick Alfonso are hereby DISMISSED, pursuant to Article 89 par. 1 of the Revised Penal Code.
In Criminal Case No. GL-Q-12-178638
All the accused above-mentioned are hereby ACQUITTED on ground of reasonable doubt.
Accordingly, the claim for damages of the heirs of Reynaldo "Bebot" Momay are hereby DISMISSED.
SO ORDERED.
The Court, however, observes that two (2) of herein respondents, Labayan and Mundas, who were members of the Labayan and Solano groups, respectively, were not mentioned in the dispositive portion of the RTC decision. Their names were neither reflected in the list of those who were acquitted, nor of those found guilty of the crime charged.
WHEREFORE, the Regional Trial Court of Quezon City, Branch 221, is hereby ORDERED to report to the Court on the status of the case of respondents SPO2 George S. Labayan and PO1 Abdulbayan U. Mundas within ten (10) days from receipt of notice. aScITE
