NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution dated February 15, 2021, which reads as follows:
"G.R. Nos. 212706-13 (PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES, petitioner v. HONORABLE SANDIGANBAYAN (FIFTH DIVISION), AGNES VST DEVANADERA, ROLANDO B. FALLER, and DIVINA GRACIA F. CRUZ, respondents). — On March 3, 2010, Acting Ombudsman Orlando C. Casimiro approved 1 the filing of the amended items of Information for malversation and violation of Republic Act No. 3019, Section 3 (e) against respondents.
On July 26, 2018, President Rodrigo Duterte appointed former Supreme Court Justice Samuel R. Martires as Ombudsman. With a new Ombudsman at the helm, the Office of the Ombudsman is instructed to apprise this Court if it intends to continue pursuing its Petition for Certiorari against respondents. The Office of the Ombudsman is likewise enjoined "to inform the Court of developments pertinent to the case which may be of help to the Court in its immediate disposition." 2
The Office of the Ombudsman is thus directed to move in the premises within 10 days upon receipt of this Resolution and inform this Court if it intends to pursue its Petition against respondents.
