Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution dated December 10, 2018, which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 238590 (People of the Philippines v. Jeremy Douglas Harold Arthur Eaton) — Considering the allegations, issues, and arguments presented in the accused-appellant's and the plaintiff-appellee's brief, the Court resolves to DISMISS the appeal for failure of the accused-appellant to sufficiently show any reversible error in the assailed Decision, 1 dated June 29, 2017, and Resolution, 2 dated January 5, 2018, warranting the exercise of the Court's appellate jurisdiction.
WHEREFORE, the findings of fact and conclusions of law of the Court of Appeals in its Decision, dated June 29, 2017, and its Resolution, dated January 5, 2018, in CA-G.R. CR-HC No. 08855, are AFFIRMED. Accused-appellant Jeremy Douglas Harold Arthur Eaton is found GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165. He is sentenced to suffer the penalty of life imprisonment and to pay a fine of P500,000.00.
