Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution datedJune 10, 2019which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 230072 (People of the Philippines v. Abdul Diangca y Angni, Alinor Diangca y Saumay and Abdul Jalil Ampaso y Angni). — After review, the Court resolves to DISMISS the appeal for failure to sufficiently show that the Court of Appeals committed any reversible error in upholding the conviction of accused-appellants Abdul Diangca y Angni, Alinor Diangca y Saumay and Abdul Jalil Ampaso y Angni for violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 in Criminal Case No. Q-11-169250.
WHEREFORE, the Court ADOPTS the findings of fact and conclusions of law in the Decision dated May 25, 2016 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CR-HC No. 07711 and AFFIRMS said Decision finding accused-appellants Abdul Diangca y Angni, Alinor Diangca y Saumay and Abdul Jalil Ampaso y Angni GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165, and sentencing them to suffer the penalty of Life Imprisonment and to pay a fine of P500,000.00 each. The Office of the Solicitor General's manifestation and motion in lieu of supplemental brief, pursuant to the Resolution dated April 3, 2017, stating that it adopts its Appellee's Brief as its supplemental brief; the letter dated June 12, 2017 of P/Supt. Roberto R. Rabo, Superintendent, New Bilibid Prison, Bureau of Corrections, Muntinlupa City, pursuant to the Resolution dated April 3, 2017, informing the Court that accused-appellant Alinor Diangca y Angni (sic) was received for confinement in the institution on June 17, 2015; the letter dated June 12, 2017 of P/Supt. Roberto R. Rabo, Superintendent, New Bilibid Prison, Bureau of Corrections, Muntinlupa City, pursuant to the Resolution dated April 3, 2017, informing the Court that accused-appellant Abdul Jalil Ampaso y Angni was received for confinement in the institution on June 17, 2015; the letter dated June 12, 2017 of P/Supt. Roberto R. Rabo, Superintendent, New Bilibid Prison, Bureau of Corrections, Muntinlupa City, pursuant to the Resolution dated April 3, 2017, informing the Court that accused-appellant Abdul Diangca y Angni was received for confinement in the institution on June 17, 2015, are all NOTED.
