Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution datedAugust 28, 2019, which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 238407 (People of the Philippines vs. Alejandre Ani y Machon). — After an exhaustive review of the allegations, issues and arguments presented by the parties, the Court resolves to DISMISS the appeal for failure to sufficiently prove that the Court of Appeals committed a reversible error in its disputed Decision 1 dated October 26, 2017 in CA-G.R. CR-H.C. No. 08655 as to warrant the exercise of the Court's discretionary appellate jurisdiction.
WHEREFORE, the Decision dated October 26, 2017 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CR-H.C. No. 08655, finding accused-appellant Alejandre Ani y Machon GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of MURDER under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, is hereby AFFIRMEDin toto.
