Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution datedJune 11, 2018which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 238511 (Abundio Patalinghug, Thelma Alpas, Linda Pangatungan, and Sergio Pautan v. Ernesto Ouano, Jr.). — The motion for extension of time (to file petition for review on certiorari under Rule 45 of the Rules of Court with application for temporary restraining order and injunction) filed by petitioners Abundio Patalinghug, Thelma Alpas, Linda Pangatungan, and Sergio Pautan is GRANTED. cEaSHC
After a review of the records, the Court resolves to DENY the petition for failure to show that the Court of Appeals committed reversible error in dismissing petitioners' petition for review. Petitioners' consistent failure in complying with the requirements for a petition for review under the Rules of Court warranted its dismissal. Petitioners cannot blame their counsel alone for such failure as they are bound by his acts since they did not show that they themselves were not negligent.
WHEREFORE, premises considered, the Resolutions dated June 23, 2017 and March 8, 2018 of the Court of Appeals are hereby AFFIRMED.
