NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution datedJuly 15, 2020, which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 12761 (Gary Gregg B. Pantanosas v. Atty. Alejandro Jose C. Pallugna) — The Court NOTES the letter dated November 29, 2019 of Atty. Randall C. Tabayoyong, Director for Bar Discipline of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Commission on Bar Discipline, transmitting to this Court the documents pertaining to this case.
The June 17, 2017 1 and October 5, 2018 2 Notices of Resolution of the Board of Governors (Board) of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines are NOTED. Considering that the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached May 3, 2016 Report and Recommendation, 3 as approved by the Board, are supported by the evidence on record and by applicable laws, this Court ADOPTS and ACCEPTS these findings and recommendation.
WHEREFORE, this Court adopts and approves the June 17, 2017 and October 5, 2018 Resolutions of the IBP Board of Governors in CBD Case No. 15-4608 and finds Atty. Alejandro Jose C. Pallugna GUILTY of violating Canons 8 4 and 11 5 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. He is hereby REPRIMANDED with a STERN WARNING that a repetition of the same or similar act shall be dealt with more severely.
