Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution dated March 27, 2019 which reads as follows:
"OCA IPI No. 16-4602-RTJ (Cecile Kristin Von Giese "Baby" O'Brien vs. Hon. Jaime B. Santiago, Regional Trial Court, Branch 3, Manila, in his capacity as Acting Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 18, Tagaytay City)
After careful review of the records of this case, We adopt the report and recommendation of the Office of the Court Administrator dismissing the complaint for failure to show that respondent violated the New Code of Judicial Conduct for Philippine Judiciary.
WHEREFORE, the instant administrative case against respondent Hon. Jaime B. Santiago is DISMISSED for lack of merit.
The complaint-affidavit dated July 4, 2016 (with enclosures) of Cecile Kristin Von Giese "Baby" O'Brien charging Presiding Judge Jaime B. Santiago, in his capacity as Acting Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 18, Tagaytay City, with abuse of authority, partiality, conduct unbecoming a judge, and violation of the pertinent provisions of the New Code of Judicial Conduct for the Philippine Judiciary; the answer (comment on the complaint) dated September 19, 2016 (with enclosures) of Presiding Judge Jaime B. Santiago; the complaint-affidavit (Reply to comment on the complaint) dated October 5, 2016 (with enclosures) of complainant; and the Report dated November 17, 2017 of the Office of the Court Administrator, are all NOTED.
