Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated11 November 2020 which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 9137 [Formerly CBD Case No. 15-4618] (Nicasio A. Medina v. Atty. Enrico A. Turingan III, Atty. Giovani Gio Baquiran, Atty. Marlon M. Agaceta, and Atty. Rogel Gatchalian). — The Court NOTES the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Board of Governors': (a) Notice of Resolution dated 27 November 2017, which adopted the findings of fact and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner in his Report dated 14 October 2016, and dismissed the complaint; and (b) Notice of Resolution dated 18 June 2019, which denied the motion for reconsideration, there being no new reasons or arguments adduced to justify the reversal of the previous decision of the Board of Governors; both transmitted by letter dated 12 March 2020 of IBP Director Randall C. Tabayoyong, Commission on Bar Discipline, together with the records of the case.
The Court RESOLVES to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendation of the IBP in its Notice of Resolution 1 dated November 27, 2017. Accordingly, the administrative complaint 2 against respondents Atty. Rogel C. Gatchalian, Atty. Enrico A. Turingan, Atty. Marlon Agaceta, and Atty. Giovani Gio Baquiran is hereby DISMISSED for lack of merit.
