Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution datedMarch 4, 2020, which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 10598 (Carlito C. Matias, complainant, v. Attorneys Vina B. Lagua and Richard M. Fulleros, respondents.) — Acting on the Affidavit Complaint for Disbarment and/or Suspension from Membership in the Integrated Bar of the Philippines with Annexes dated July 30, 2014 filed by Carlito C. Matias against Atty. Vina B. Lagua and Atty. Richard M. Fulleros of the Commission on Audit, for violation of the Code of Professional Responsibility, the Court resolves to DISMISS the aforesaid Affidavit Complaint for Disbarment in view of the Decision dated October 12, 2016 in A.C. No. 8168 (Spouses Edwin B. Buffe and Karen M. Silverio-Buffe v. Sec. Raul M. Gonzalez, et al.), wherein the Court ruled that the Office of the Ombudsman is the appropriate government agency who has jurisdiction over public officers who are charged for actions involving their official duties, and to INFORM the complainant that he has the option to file the case against herein respondents before the Office of the Ombudsman.
