Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution dated February 26, 2020, which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 11223 (Lolita V. Manalo-Hemedez,Complainant, v. Atty. Carlo V. Alcantara,Respondent). — The Letter dated 26 November 2019 of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Commission on Bar Discipline (CBD) transmitting the documents pertaining to this case is NOTED.
WHEREFORE, the Notice of Resolution dated 22 March 2018, of the Board of Governors of the IBP pertaining to CBD Case No. 16-5116 (Adm. Case No. 11223) entitled, Lolita V. Manalo-Hemedez, Complainant, v. Atty. Carlo V. Alcantara, Respondent, is NOTED. The Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report and Recommendation dated 01 March 2017, which the IBP Board of Governors likewise adopted and approved. The Complaint against Atty. Carlo V. Alcantara is hereby DISMISSED.
Accordingly, the case is considered CLOSED and TERMINATED.
